The first band was a reggae band from Tucson: ZeeCeeKeely. They were the perfect choice to start the night off. Their music is excellent, albeit a bit calm compared to what the rest of the night had in store. But they are still a loud, energetic, and fun reggae band to watch.

The short 7-song set included a very nice surprise: a reggae version of “Another Brick in the Wall” by Pink Floyd. With great vocals from Zachery Keely and a group of talented musicians that will soon include horns, this band is one you should catch if you enjoy reggae. They will perform on February 23rd, 2020 at Rawhide during the Arizona Roots festival.

ZeeCeeKeely is an American Reggae band from Tucson Arizona. ZeeCeeKeely was formed by the frontman and the band’s namesake, Zachary C. Keely. Having an extensive musical career through his teens and early 20s, in multiple local bands, the Tucson native set out to form his own project. Zach found several friends and individuals with the perfect blend of: talent, dedication, passion, and devotion, to help spread and play his music. By blending his messages of peace, respect, reflection, and rights, with the sounds of roots reggae, rock, dancehall, and jazz, ZeeCeeKeely is promoting a music and lifestyle that it’s quickly gaining traction in these trying times. All of the music and lyrics have been written by Zach, who also is the singer and lead guitar player of the band. He has shared the stage with a plethora of like minded musicians during his tenure as a performing artist; be it a supporting act for nationally recognized bands (Damien Marley, Steel Pulse, Rebelution, Iya Terra, The Expanders, Tribal Seeds, The Expendables, Sublime W/ Rome, Katastro, Hirie, E.N. Young, Inna Vision, Skanks Roots Project, Swells, Common Kings, Eli Mac, Landon McNamara, Authority Zero, The Green, Stephen Marley, Mike Love and many more) or performing in a nationally known music festival (Arizona Roots, Viva Iriezona, Tico Time Reggae Festival). ZeeCeeKeely's unique Sound is simply Desert Roots Rock Reggae Dub that keeps everyone dancing and moving to the rhythm of their Vibrations.
