Bio
Zachary Seif is a freelance guitarist, educator and performer from New Jersey, USA. Starting at age 11, Zack began playing the guitar and instantly became obsessed with learning as much as he could about music. Having studied under multiple teachers in the area, Zack continued on to study at Berklee College of Music, graduating Summa Cum laude in 2021 with his Bachelors of Music Business. Being self-sufficient is his goal, and by becoming as versatile as possible in the industry, Zack continues to make a name for himself and live off of music alone.
His original music under the moniker “Regression” is a progressive instrumental journey covering many fields of metal and solo guitar, while maintaining an ambient texture and focusing on overall composition. Working in multiple bands and projects allows Zack to showcase his versatility on a daily basis. Between his full-year schedule with cover band Evolution X, fill-in dates with Triple Addiction and short runs in community theater productions, Zack does it all with a high level of professionalism.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic the ZackSeifMusic YouTube Channel was revived and now hosts weekly content. With content ranging from Gig Vlogs to Gear Demos, there is something for everyone. Zack is a self taught video and audio editor who strives to turn his channel into another source of passive income.
In November of 2020 Zack became the Artist Relations Manager for Quantum Industries, a musical instrument flight and road case company that sells direct to consumer worldwide. Making connections with some of the world's top tier musicians, managers and companies has allowed Zack to showcase his business and communication skills on an international scale.
When it comes to teaching, Zack believes building personal relations with his students allows him to further understand their reasons for playing an instrument, and to try and understand what music really means to them. Having an average of 30 students a week, ranging in age from 3-60+, from beginner to advanced; Zack always address his students needs and goals first, and aims to help them achieve anything they set their minds to.
Wearing many hats allows Zack to do everything he enjoys on a daily basis, and he would not want it any other way.
