Yung Jewelz , The Paid Hipster. Born Jewelee Wilson in Jackson, MS. Yung Jewelz has made a name for herself in a short period of time being one of the most talented female artists to come out of MS. With a different genre of rap, Hipster Music, sometimes less edgier than hip hop but still embodies that vibe everyone can enjoy. One of the many reasons she was nominated for Hip Hop Female Artist of the Year in the Jackson Music Awards 2018, Best Female Artist of 2018 In the I Am Mississippi Awards. Her latest album Earth Day, was nominated for Album of the Year. Her most popular single at the time "Higher" was nominated for Video of the Year as well . Jewelz followed up with her latest latest track “Papi” which has over 40k streams. The MC just recently took home the Jackson Music's 2019 Female Hip Hop Artist of the Year Award. It’s safe to say Yung Jewelz is a force to be reckoned with and definitely here to stay!
