For several yeas now the underground scene in Gary, Indiana has known Yoson to be affiliated with underground hip-hop super-group T.A.L.A (To All Loyal Affiliates) and the up and coming independent group Block Royal. Some might not know that he is a pretty well established solo artist.While interviewing this young man, he took the liberty of free-styling for me and the first word to pop into my head was futuristic. His lyrics were other-worldly and razor sharp to precision, I must say that he captured my attention with relative ease. In the background during this interview, a DVD was playing that featured him and others MC's rocking the crowd at a local open-mic in Chicago. Once Yoson blessed the mic, line after line audience members would drop their jaws in amazement or gasp at the young mans hailing form the home of the world's greatest entertainer, Michael Jackson.
