Born a Winston-Salem, NC native into a muscally inclined family in 1992, WyKia Crawley has been into music in general, since she could sing her ABC's. Growing up in a musically influential family, she found her passion for music, thus leading her to wanting to become a singer. Besides listening to the tunes of her grandmother, whom was a local jazz singer & her mother whom also was a vocalist, WyKia listened to music from musicians such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Monica, Anita Baker, Luther Vandross & many others. Shortly after jump starting her music career by partnering with Street Religion Records Inc. as an Independent artist in 2016, WyKia released her first single, "Only You" thus leading her to her first show in North Charleston, South Carolina. She later released her second single "Love Away" which quickly become her hit single. That same year, WyKia was also invited to be apart of the 2016  Atlanta Black Theater Festival, where she landed a singing & acting role in a play called "Bag Lady". It was also that same year in 2016 when she won her first award for Charlotte, NC's Queen City Award for "Best New Artist" shortly after being singed independently to Indie Label, Street Religion Records. Upon her win, WyKia released her EP, Rawsilk77, which contained her NO.1 hit "Love Away", which bought WyKia 8 points away from having a billboard spot her first year. Since then, she has released another single called " Crushin'" which is quickly getting attention.  From performing at Club White House, The Apostrophe Lounge, The Bakadi lounge to writing songs in the studio, WyKia remains a Queen. Her voice, hardworking & vocal talent are one for the stars! She is humble, she is Unique, she is WyKia.
