Wrestling Folly

We are an eccentric alternative rock band that formed in Roanoke, Alabama in January of 2019 in a small living room of an old house. Our singer Erin Dragotta is from Gadsden, Alabama and has been singing and performing for over 10 years throughout Northeast Alabama. Our guitarist Byron Reynolds who is from Roanoke, Alabama has been playing guitar for over 8 years and has performed in former bands based in Roanoke, Alabama. Our drummer, Zach Dragotta from Opelika, Alabama has been drumming for 12 years and also helps with vocals. Our bassist, Kyle Ray from Roanoke, Alabama has been playing bass and performed for various recording artists and former bands throughout Alabama as well. We formed this band because we wanted to bring something different to the table and inspire others that are hungry for eclectic music that is rarely played in venues throughout the south. Our biggest inspirations are The Raconteurs, Led Zeppelin, and Iggy and the Stooges. Our name, Wrestling Folly, symbolizes the daily struggles everyone has to suffer in life and how to defeat those challenges and overcome them. Forming this band and making music has been the most amazing adventure for us. We hope that what we bring to the stage changes how people think and feel about music and inspires them to make something of their own from it.
