Allow me to introduce myself...
My name is WORDZ The Poet Emcee. I’m an independent hip-hop Soul artist and poet from Philly, who travels and performs regionally throughout the Tristate area as well as in major Southern cities, including Atlanta, New Orleans, and Houston. I’m submitting my music for your review.
In short, my music is a mix of classic hip-hop, funk, and soul. My formal bio is as follows:
Often referred to as a “breath of fresh air” WORDZ The Poet Emcee is a gifted lyricist, poet, and songwriter, delivering authentic Hip-Hop & Soul. Noted as an artist who aims to “reinvigorate Hip-Hop” by Afro Punk’s Erin White, and an artist with “something to say” by Philadelphia Magazine, WORDZ has become a sought after artist on the East Coast and tours throughout the country year-round. This year the artist released his 11th project entitled, “Unapologetic” available on iTunes, Spotify and Tidal. WORDZ regularly plays venues such as The House of Blues in New Orleans and Philadelphia’s World Cafe Live.
