Devonte “Wood Zombie” Horne
Born and raised on Detroit's west side, Wood Zombie is poet/emcee inspired by the musical pieces of Bob Marley, 2Pac Shakur, Jill Scott, Tribe Called Quest, Erykah Badu, Andre 3000, Detroit Tech, and much more. He began writing poetry at an early age due to his father introducing great hip-hop music and his mother's ability to write poetry.
Zombie later took his musical talents to the next level, releasing his debut solo mixtape 'The Law of Detachment' Nov 2014. Zombie continues to contribute to the underground and spiritual realm of musical frequencies for the minds to tune in to, while also looking to expand his musical following. Believe the light within the darkness, the darkness within the light. We are all one. We are the ‘Children of The Night’.
