Sometimes you have to feel to see. Senses must blur in order to focus. WolF J is an artist, creating entire experiences that speak to every reflex and frequency.
As a talented songwriter and performer, he blends genres seamlessly, jumping between bars, melodies and everything in between with lyrics as honest as they are poetic. Music that values the journey over the destination. Elements of soul, hip hop, electronica create the perfect soundscape for that ride.
Since releasing his first project UpsideDown Day in 2009, he’s done over 100 shows; opening for artists like Shad K and Keshia Chante along the way. His performances blur the lines between high energy and intimate, and is what earned him his growing following of fellow artists and fans of a dope live show.
His music is gaining international traction, being featured on blogs all over the U.S., Hong Kong, France and Poland to name a few.
As a graphic designer and creative director, his vibrant work reveals a mind full of colour, inspiration and perfect execution. Part of Toronto-based art collective 88 Days of Fortune, his work speaks for itself.
