WOO! D*mn it feels good to see people back on it! Been a while since we did a #TunnelVision huh? Been a while since anybody deserved one too. With that being said I introduce to you one of Mississippi's finest, Willie D. Tha Kang. I've got a lot of great things to say about this artist with my actually knowing this man personally but I'm gone keep it G and run with the facts.
Willie D. Stewart II A.K.A “Willie D. Tha Kang” is coming out of Jackson, MS also known to many as the “The Birthplace of the Blues” and “The City With Soul.” He is the only child of divorced parents and at a young age Willie D found an interest in writing down his thoughts and feelings, which later led him to compiling said thoughts in musical form. Instead of harboring his ill feelings regarding his situation at home, he used these feelings to fuel his passions thus creating music that allowed him to escape his fortress of solitude… a true exhibition of #TunnelVision.
Ever since his late years of Junior-High, Willie D. has been detailing his life experiences and the growth he has received from them, into his music. Realizing his lyrical talents and creative word-play ability, he began recording his music in the studio late 2002, all with the hopes of conveying his talents on larger scale; hopefully garnering a strong fan base along the way.
Willie D. Tha Kang has been influenced by a large variety of artist ranging from legends such as Bobby Blue Bland, and Sam Cook to more recent artist such as Lil Boosie, Project Pat and Tupac Shakur. He also draws his influence from different genres of artists such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Incubus, Hard-Fi, The Killers, and Lenny Kravitz just to name a few. When asked about his biggest goals he replied simply and deliberately. He just wants to make genuine music that emphasizes showmanship and is genuinely entertaining. Real. Here's a quote from the man himself explaining his thoughts on the "genuineness" of his music..
“I feel that as the artist if you have a story to tell, then you should tell your story truthfully…I always try my best to stay away from untruthful exaggerations in my music just to fill bars…” So when you’re listening to Willie D. Tha Kang understand that these are real-life experiences that you’re hearing and not anything fabricated, so close your eyes and let the music give you a glimpse into my life...”
Keep up the good work my G. We gone keep our eyes on you from the Attic. Peace X Swank.

I been south for the summer and heard some crazy hotness. I had the pleasure of being acquainted with ya boy "Willie D tha Kang" straight out of my hometown Jackson MS. I heard his hit "Jonny Cage" and fell into some southern comfort. Willie explains: tha Kang a walking master piece/Bout that gwop like Master P/main event you gotta see/dark skin hoe's stay mad at me/she aint Red/Gotta Be/I'ma get her certainly/Haters wanna murder me/Cuz all they hoe's done suck this meat/I serve them like the last feast/Yo Bitch was so last week/Passing by they honor me/I'm royalty so bow to me I have to admit Willie D tha Kang is so convincing you actually believe him and this aura he admits too. After meeting him the confidence is not a illusion it's simply a fact. I don't condemn those who use the word bitch when needed so I will definitely be bumping this for the summer. I suggest you pay attention because you might miss out. I suggest you check out Willie D tha Kang sites for your self....or stay under a rock. Blog or Die Bitches. That's what I'm on today!!!!!!
