Wilder Sons is a captavating indie/rock four piece who have honed their musical talents in the heart of Southwest Florida.
The band is comprised of four members who are no rookies to the music scene. Lead singer/ rhythm guitarist, Brian Blount as well as drummer, Aaron Maloney were founding members of Vega Under Fire. The band garnered attention by winning over audiences all over the country during its prolific life span. VUF shared the stage with bands such as Panic! At the Disco, Mayday Parade, Manchester Orchestra, and New found Glory, to name a few.
Post VUF, Brian spent a few years lending his talents to renowned Punk-Rock band, Fake Problems. Aaron has lent his hand in various talented acts, including The High Chiefs with Wilder Sons' bass player Chris Anderson. To complete the line up six string extraordinaire, Jake Rubinton, rounding out the mix.
On October 24th, 2014 the foursome released their first EP self-titled WILDER SONS. The EP has since won over Florida's heart, encouraging the group to remain on the road throughout the year opening for acts like The Story So Far, Copeland, Turnover, and Basement to name a few. What's next for Florida's finest, you ask? More kick ass music and performances. Come see and hear it for yourself.
