Three rappers came to the Club 937 studio to participate in the first week of the #60SecondChallenge.
The ‘Best Rapper In Flint’ list is about to get a shake up with the #60SecondChallenge contest. Here’s the breakdown…
Each week 3 rappers will be invited to the Club studio to participate in the #60SecondChallenge.
Rappers will have 60 seconds to spit bars. There will be no beat.
There is no going over the 60 second mark. You have exactly 60 seconds to shine.
The three videos each week will be posted on Wednesday night on the Club 937 website and on our YouTube page.
Rappers will have from Wednesday when the video is posted to Monday at 4pm to get votes.
Votes are generated by YouTube VIEWS and YouTube LIKES. Facebook likes and comments will NOT be counted.
Both YouTube views and YouTube likes will be added up at 4pm on Monday. The winner will be announced shortly after.
Winner of the #60SecondChallenge will be invited back to the studio for an exclusive 8-1-Show interview.

Gonzo Stennis, also known by his alias 1magine is a Detroit based alt. hip hop/ R&B artist and producer. The young artist's knack for versatility has landed him in many good graces with shows despite being 100% independent. Taking inspiration from the likes of Sada Baby and Rio Da Yung OG to the sounds of Juicewrld, and even the band Crumb. Putting 1magine in a box is impossible, however he has a song to match almost any vbie and if he doesnt, he just hasn't created it yet. 'Cult Zone' is his newest release under his indie collective 'DownBySix'. This new song perfectly encapsulates the Michigan trap sound while maintaining its own sound due to 1magine's animated cadence and flow. His grunge - goth aesthetic paired with his energy on stage is hard to ignore.
Since 1magine’s start in 2017, he’s rocked cities across the country with very energetic and bold performances including at SXSW in Austin, and A3C in Atlanta.. Sharing stages with the likes of Playboi Carti, Unotheactivist, Warhol.ss, Snoop Dogg, Jacquees and Twista has landed 1magine features in the 2017 Emcee Cypher, multiple interviews at Club 93.7 in Flint, and an exclusive interview with Patchwerk in Atlanta after winning the "Tight 32" rap competition. This isn’t the end for his 1magination. His other accomplishments include a special guest performance in support of NBA Youngboy at Dort Federal Event Center in Flint on Sept 1st, 2018. Hosting over 50 of his own events throughout Michigan has his name ringing lots of bells to venues, artists and influencers in the Detroit area.
