Waxtastic

    Officially formed in July of 2015, Waxtastic has been incorporating many styles into their music. Having a wide range of musical influences, they have also been constantly evolving, adding more to their sound. Their music is a conglomeration of diverse genres including: funk; dance; alternative; space; blues; electronica; and more, in a format that weaves each influence together by means of improvisation. Along with the ability to improvise, the band is able to play in accordance with the energy of the crowd in any given environment. Because of this, each performance is guaranteed to be unique and memorable. Since their formation, Waxtastic has been consistently gaining new fans and support in different communities, and have shared the stage with the likes of Earphorik; Kommunity Service (featuring members of The Macpodz, the Werks, and Boogie Matrix Mechanism); Stormy Chromer; Subterranean; and more.
    As of 2017, Waxtastic has been performing with a bevy of repeat guests (including keyboards/synth, and brass/woodwind players), adding to the thrill and diversity of their performances, and assuring a unique performance. 2017 has also seen Waxtastic make their debut music festival performance, playing at May Daze 2017 with Glostik Willy, Jahman Brahman, and more. The band has been filmed twice by WBGU-TV PBS, and is currently working on a release in the studio to be released mid-late 2017.
