Waves of Infinity

Originally conceived as a songwriting outlet by classically-trained guitarists Justin Clark (A Lily Gray) and Jeff Ostler, Waves of Infinity has evolved into a full live band featuring Geoff Lay, Torrey Bouck and Sunimal Alles (A Lily Gray). 

The Waves of Infinity sound is rooted in common modern metal subgenres (groove metal, technical and melodic death metal and metalcore), but explores a much wider array of influences including classical/baroque, jazz and ambient music, resulting in their own compelling brand of "Spaceprog/Mathpop". Utilizing a broad array of vocal and guitar styles, Waves of Infinity will appeal broadly to fans of forward-thinking, "technical-but-listenable" bands like Soilwork, Textures, Chimp Spanner and The Contortionist. 

In their short tenure they have shared the stage with renowned national and global acts including The Faceless, Monuments (UK), Entheos, The Zenith Passage, Sleepmakeswaves (AU) and Creations (AU). The debut release, "Centauri", is a 17-minute concept piece that was self-produced by Justin and the band, mixed by Matt Winegar (Primus, Royal Bliss, A Lily Gray) and mastered by Jens Bogren (Soilwork, Between the Buried and Me, Opeth). The band is hard at work on their 2nd release, which builds conceptually and musically on the material introduced in Centauri.
