Bio
Walker Reed, is a singer/ song writer/ music producer from North Carolina with copyrights to more than 100 original songs.
The song Bones has been used for a FOX hunting outdoors show called Claim your Trophy, along with This Thing Called Gold and Worry Free. His song, God Bless Fishing and Camo is the theme song for Florida's #1 Outdoors Radio Show, Trophy Taker Outdoors, also heard nationally on iHeartRadio 102.5 The Bone.
Walker produced his first album which was a contemporary album with a southern twist. He focused on his family and business, till deciding to pursue his love for music.
Born and raised in a small town called White Lake, he felt a strong draw to country music. He was mentored musically by his late uncle Gary Dean Randolph who played professionally country and rock.
By the age of 12 Walker had written his first song called Seeker, this song was inspired by a Dolly Parton sheet music cover he found among his mothers music collection. By his late teens he had recorded 14 songs at Working Overtime Studio by Peggy Allen. One of the songs, Rapture had touched Mrs. Allen so strongly that she offered her studio production for free to produce the song.
Over the next few years Walker focused on bringing music to prisons, and writing books and devoting his time with his childhood sweetheart, Crystal Denise Walker(Cheerio) and their four girls; Payton, Madison, Emma Claire and Paisley McClaine.
Walker enjoys hunting, hiking, skiing, and many other outdoor activities.
As a youth. Walker spent time working on tobacco farms, hog farms and commercial fishing which was the family business.
Music has always played a big part of the Walker family for three generations. Some of Walker's major musical influences is Josh Turner, Tracey Lawrence and Allen Jackson.
Walker continues to cowrite with his wife Crystal and is focusing on music for Film and Television.
