VIBIN' DUTCHMEN
Brother Andy: Vocals / Accordion / Boomba

Born and raised in Eastern Pennsylvania, Brother Andy and Brother Travis were exposed to polka culture at an early age. From toddlers dancing beneath the Polkaplatz tent at Musikfest to adulthood, the duo has never forgotten their Pennsylvanian roots despite their move across the country. It wasn't until Great Aunt Marg passed away and left to Brother Andy the family accordion that their love for the music was reignited!
Still, the band was not complete with just the accordion. The Vibin' Dutchmen knew well the music of their homeland and that the band would not be complete without a boomba. The polka pair made contact with none-other than the Lehigh Valley Happy Boombadeers to purchase one of their sacred percussion instruments. Mother met the Boombadeer to make the transaction and ship the instrument out west. Not only did this package contain the band's new boomba, it also contained the two vests once worn by Grandfather's polka band, The Naturals. Now, adorned with the family heirloom instruments and uniforms, the Vibin' Dutchmen are poised to bring forth a polka revolution with their reimagined vision of a truly traditional music!
Based out of Eugene, Oregon, Vibin' Dutchmen deliver their authentic stylings to the Pacific Northwest. Churning out polka standards with their Americana roots, the band has branded their sound in an all new genre known as "polk rock." You can find the band performing classic polkas such as "Pennsylvania Polka" and "Beer Barrel Polka" alongside folk, rock, and Americana favorites from artists such as Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, and more! In addition, Brother Andy and Brother Travis are both seasoned song-writers and will incorporate original material within their sets.
