Under Social was founded in 2013 in Huntington WV. The band gathered to write a sophomore album after Lawson's first album she did as a solo act. Lead vocalist Stacee Lawson's album "Deranged" that was released Nationwide in 2009 was just a warm up for what she had her mind set on. Lawson wanted to write more on the harder side of rock as did the other band members so they decided to change the name. Under Social consist of seasoned musicians Tim Armstrong (guitars) Mike Simpson (percussion) John Gore (bass) Stacee Lawson (lead vocals and acoustic guitar). Lawson's freshman album "Deranged" has appeared on XM Radio and was a featured artist on the XM Radar Report. She held the # 1 spot on the Major College Radio circuit for several weeks. Her song "Deranged" also appeared on Dog the Bounty Hunter Episode 185 season 7.Under Social is working on their second album release, the follow up to their "Long Strange Trip" release in 2015.
