Based out of Southern New Jersey, Tyler Sarfert is a unique artist with a strong presence in the music scene. At the early age of ten, Tyler Sarfert started off on drums and marimba, gradually moved onto piano, and then guitar/bass. When Tyler Sarfert was 16 he started recording his own songs in the basement of his home with very little equipment. Tyler's desire grew for something more, when he had written a full setlist of songs. Over time he recruited guitarist Brandon Kaufman from the church he attended. After finding a guitarist, Tyler sought after a bassist and drummer. He had been long time friends with drummer Maison Guidry (touring artist for Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, etc.) and eventually Guidry joined the group. Finally, he recruited Peter Bariexca, to fill the position of bass guitar. Playing every instrument on his first single "Settle", he captures listeners with the opening piano riff and lyrics everyone can relate to. After playing shows across New Jersey, Tyler Sarfert caught the eye of The Project Matters, by which he is currently sponsored. Tyler Sarfert and his band are also endorsed by JH Audio, an industry standard, international in-ear monitor company. At the present, Tyler Sarfert is working on his self-titled EP which will be released in a few short months.
