Honky-Tonk and Classic Country Music

Twangtown is a group of veteran musicians and vocalists who have played every where from the mountains and hollers of eastern Kentucky to Paris, France. Their resume reads like a whose who of traditional Country and Bluegrass artists. The group was formed when Andrew and Jason decided the timing was right to launch Twangtown in the fall of 2015; A band that had been an idea of theirs for several years. 

And now, a little about the boys.....

Guitarist and vocalist, Andrew Hayes comes from Rockcastle County, KY. A veteran road musician, he has toured with many Nashville artists in his career. He has shared the stage with The Charlie Daniels Band, Blackberry Smoke and Chris Cagle. Andrew & Jake had crossed paths several times as Jake grew up in the same area playing Bluegrass and Classic Country. 

Front man and guitarist, Jake Vanover began playing at a very young age. He had his own band for several years before he started working as part of the house band at Renfro Valley. His talent is beyond his years. He's only 22 but plays and sings like a seasoned professional. His powerhouse vocals and Country roots are a perfect fit for Twangtown and we're sure you'll agree. 

Bassist, guitarist and vocalist, Jason Hale, grew up in Isonville, KY. Jason has worked with Katrina Elam, Daryle Singletary, Ronnie Bowman, Jerrod Neimann, Country Tonite Theater and many more. He has performed in venues like The House of Blues (Las Vegas) and events including the CMA Awards. Jason is also an endorsing artist for Labella bass strings.

Drummer and vocalist, Randy Hampton, worked with Jason in a few bands in the early 2000's. He is a native of Sandy Hook, KY. Randy has been mainstay in the Kentucky music scene. He has extensive recording and touring experience with several national artists and has worked as a drum tech, clinician and private teacher for many years. The Marine Corps veteran is also a member of The Worlds Fastest Drummer Association in Nashville, TN.

Collectively, these guys bring years of experience and their love of traditional Country music shows on stage.
