Bio
Trio713 is a recently formed piano trio based in Houston, Texas. Comprised of violinist Jisu Shin, cellist Hyeok Kwon, and pianist Sunjung Lee, the piano trio has built up a regular performing season since they were formed in October of 2018. Trio713 is active in community outreach, as they are regularly featured in the Tallowood Concert Series and the Margaret Alkek Williams Crain Garden Performance Series at Houston Methodist Hospital. Both institutions are non-profit organizations, with emphasis on making classical music more accessible to the general public. The trio is also involved in the Korean community, regularly performing at the Houston Korean Community Center. Trio713’s concert season also includes performances at the Shepherd School of Music and Lone Star College - Montgomery. The variety of the trio’s engagements reflect the diverse range of style and repertoire that Trio713 provides.
