Tragic Americans
Tragic Americans formed in 2013 as a collaborative project between award-winning songwriters Bob Robinson and John Montet. Together with drummer Nathan Weissenberger, bassist Dustin Schilling, and guitarist Torben Larson the band stays true to its member's classic rock, blues, and hard rock roots, producing a sound that is brand new while sounding easily familiar.
Work
Tragic Americans performs a number of venues, from festivals and fundraisers for crowds thousands strong, to small club for select audiences. The band has opened from country acts, such as the New Black Seven; they have headlined multi-band hard rock performances; and they have opened for grunge/metal showcases.
While Tragic Americans consistently stay true to their sound, band's versatility and the catchy accessibility of their original music makes it easy for them to blend seamlessly into any venue.
Latest Project
In mid-2015, Tragic Americans released their debut EP, Come On In. The four-song album lends a rock and pop feel to stories of heartbreak, longing, and redemption. The melodic refrains blend with rich guitar licks and a modern take on late ninety's hard rock soloing. Each song draws you in, building a rich environment in the listener's mind full of familiar faces and bittersweet memories.
