Tracy Jo and The Toads, well, most of The Toads, opened for Cris Jacobs tonite at Fairfield Theatre Company, Fairfield, CT. Accompanied by Josh Lindblad (percussion) and Jon Kamal (guitar), her powerful, beautiful voice filled the room performing her own material, along with some well-chosen cover songs, starting off the evening with great music.
Jo’s renditions of Paul Simon’s “50 Ways to Leave your Lover” and John Prime’s “Angel from Montgomery” were right on and her original music was great! She has a debut EP out called “Two Shots” and will hopefully release a full album soon. I can’t wait to get to know her music better.
