Two Syracuse natives are returning with their band, Tionesta, for a concert at the Westcott Theater tonight.
According to their bio, they recently released their first EP, “Greatest Hits," featuring a mix of roots rock, New York garage rock, Australian psychedelic music, ’70s classic rock, and “groove rock.”
Roesch and Williams both graduated from Bishop Ludden High School; Williams formed the group while jamming with friends at the University of Maryland. Roesch, whose family owns George O’Dea’s Pub on Tipperary Hill, moved to Baltimore last year to join the project. - Syracuse.com

Bio
Tionesta is a band out of Baltimore, Maryland. They starting playing together in college, jamming at house parties and collegiate festivals. They recently recorded their first EP 'Greatest Hits'. The sound of this EP has influences in roots rock with a hint of groove aka "Groove Rock". They are strongly influenced by New York garage rock, Australian psychedelic, as well as 70s classic rock.
