This! Is A Crisis

This Is A Crisis comes from the dingy basements, sweaty rehearsal spaces and straight from the depths of over-crowded beer soaked concert halls.


In the fall of 2013, five musicians came together after finding
themselves at a standstill on the local music scene. After numerous
years of playing in many different bands around the Durham Region, Brett
Lavender (Vocals), Andrew Brien (Rhythm Guitar, Back-up Vocals), Johnny
Gionette (Bass, Back-up Vocals), Felix Bouchard (Lead Guitar) and Kyle
Russell (Drums), got together and decided to start making some music.
LOUD, FAST, RAUNCHY, SOLO FILLED, DOWN RIGHT HIGH ENERGY ROCK N’ ROLL
MUSIC.

What came to the table was five very different musical
tastes, ranging from punk rock, metal, hardcore, alternative and
straight up rock n’ roll. This gave them diversity and sound that is
unique to them and them alone. Gelling quickly, they began to compose,
things took off fast and they are now ready to unleash the fury that is
THIS IS A CRISIS!

Armed with an explosive live performance and
songs that will make you want to sing along with everyone but at the
same time rip everyone’s head off, these boys are sure to please. A take
no prisoners attitude dominates their live performance, as well as a
willingness to go out of their way to engage any crowd in any situation
proves one thing, This Is A Crisis will blow you away. So issue a state
of emergency, and go with it.
