Bio
The Seattle Band Xolie Morra & The Strange Kind is making a musical presence worldwide. The band has appeared on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live and performed with acts such as Crosby Stills & Nash, John Mayer, & the ladies of the 2010 Lilith Fair. Through grass roots marketing, they've built a relationship with a broadening fan base through the years.
Along side their success as a band, singer/songwriter Xolie Morra is an open book who's goal is to change perception of disability through music.
The band has released their first full length album, produced by Singer Xolie Morra Cogley, along side long time band mate, drummer Brett Ashley Hutchinson, in October of 2018 called "The Great Social Experiment", mixing Xolie's edgy vocals and moving melodic compositions, with an Intensely intimate, yet aggressive Alternative Country/ Rock production in it's purest form. "The Great Social Experiment" incorporates a multi faceted approach to the politics of social media and incorporates close and new musical friendships in a way that showcases Xolie's unique musical perspective as an artist/songwriter/producer on the Autism Spectrum.
