Bio
The Slum Raisins focus on playing 'instrumental party music.' We write our own material and occasionally sprinkle in covers. Our sound touches on the genres of rock, jam, funk, dance, electronica and psychedelia.
The band is comprised of 4 members: 2 guitar players, bass player, drummer. We have been playing together for a couple of years and have recently started playing out, to positive reaction! Although we are based in Boston, we are open to gigging outside out the immediate area. Although we come from different musical backgrounds, we all share the common goal of exploring new musical grooves and of making sure that the audience is having just as much fun as we are.
