“Emanating from right here in Boston, psych rockers The Silver Mirrors have just unearthed their brand new EP titled "Sunshine Space". These guys may not be familiar names to you just yet, but they will be in due time with their sound that is straight out of the desert with woozy rhythms and spaced out guitar licks that put everything in perspective right away. I was curious as to what these guys sound like, and immediately found something unique and different than all the other upstart bands out there. They seem to have a strong sense of individuality and self worth that makes them that much more noticable to the naked ear, and presents an otherworldly sound that is highly inventive and reflects their musical upbringing and personalities both on and off stage. An intriguing local act that is definitely worthy of your listening time.” - Music Box Pete
Silver Mirrors – 60’s inspired gems that simmer and twist. The soundtrack you’d expect to hear on a drug-fueled road trip through the American south. Snarling vocals call to mind Roky Erickson while sinewy tripped out jams unfold beneath - Boston Hassle
"The Silver Mirrors are a spectacular rock n’ roll sound/band that hail stateside out of Cambridge/Massachusetts, northeast. These spendid rockers of four are ‘bringin & swingin’ the rock n’ roll roots with sensational ‘howling & growling’ blues flavours alongside ear caverns of desert/garage and psychedelic genre airs. Their entire music platform had tremendous rock music colour, attitude and atmospheric vibe. They were absolutely ‘jolting’ my ear rock modules with impressive snarling/western riff skies, vocals that had that brilliant crisp rock n’ roll edge definition and a rhythm unit which was ‘thriving and driving’ mighty with brilliant groove throughout. This was a truly solidified listen and I most certainly feel it will be a very hopeful prospect for rock music afficianados around the globe in really taking a good ear liking for, great rock music bite!" - Forkster

Bio
The Silver Mirrors 60's inspired gems have been described as "The soundtrack you’d expect to hear on a drug-fueled road trip through the American south." With vocals that snarl and howl like Eric Burden and a sound that is "straight out of the desert with woozy rhythms and spaced out guitar licks." With a range that that goes as hard as Iggy Pop and as soft as Keith Richards trying to cover the Everly Brothers. The Silver Mirrors draw inspiration from the psychedelia of the 60's and constantly experiment with new sounds.
They are recording a new album in October 2016 that will explore new territory from a variety or musical styles including the imaginative rock of the early 70's and the groovier side of surf pop. Their latest release 'Really Want It All' was recorded this year at Converse Rubber Tracks Studio in Boston. A three song EP that reflected the lighter side of The Silver Mirrors that contrasted with the frenetic garage energy of January's 'Sunshine Space' and 2015's 'Witching Hour'.
The Silver Mirrors formed in late 2014 when guitar and vocalists Joe G and Joe Q left the Boston folk rock scene to create a new band that followed their psychedelic rock dream aesthetic. Drummer Rutchaplee 'Pat' Prongprapa from Thailand and Bassist Alec Graham from LA soon joined up and the group has been playing shows throughout New England & New York and playing showcases in festivals like CMJ and SXSW since.
