Bio
The Rellies formed in January, 2016 when a set of twins from Sonoma met a filipino guy from Hawaii and decided to collaborate their sound and form this hip hop group out of Santa Cruz, California. Dominic (BMBR) and Daniel (Dizzy D) Coccia, talented rappers since elementary, show influences of Dom Kennedy, Mac Miller, Black Hippy, Action Bronson, Freddie Gibbs, Riff Raff and other masterminds. Meanwhile... Scott Valdez (2 Scoops) a musical composer and producer is amazing at mixing original synths with 70s sampling bringing a new twist to progressive hip hop with non-stop hype like in their hit songs "Can't Touch Me" & "SFO to OKA".
When you listen to The Rellies one thing comes to mind, No Bad Days, which is the name of their first album now bumping on itunes, spotify, soundcloud, and all over the net. They're bringing explosive beats with that future trap and melodic synth sound, catchy vocals and nice rhymes you'll remember. Catch them traveling all over the world as they prepare for their 2017 tour and releasing their second album "Donuts and Champagne." Keep an eye out for them to be blowing up because their going straight to the top. This is a train that has no stops!
Their live show is no joke either! Their lights & jumping while chanting & mixing live beats from start to finish will get you pumped for the next show. Their message seems to be clear: have fun, party, and everyone be a RELATIVE!
