The Patient Zeros began when CJ Kjolhede and Joe Schramm formed a band in Denver in the winter of 2012. (Both are from Michigan originally.) While the fair weather bands were waiting for the spring to come to continue their hobby, CJ and Joe were making it their job to forge a new Denver sound in the quiet, seasonally vacant practice space downtown. Combining elements of folk and blues with their willingness to experiment with traditional structure and pop sensibility, they have created something unique to a city filled with people fighting to create their own signature.
Drawing comparisons to The Arctic Monkeys, Jeff Buckley, and The Black Keys, The Zeros put on a high energy rock n roll show, making a lot of noise for two people. They have spanned Seattle to Detroit in several nationwide tours supporting an album and an EP, both released in the summer of 2013.The Zeros are currently working on the follow up to last year's "Polycardiac", to be released early 2015.
