The New Imperialism is a band based out of Wichita, KS whose sound is best explained as 1890's rock n' roll. It's a blend of heavy guitar riffs, carnival-esque melodies, progressive structures, danceable beats, and an emotional eeriness that can only be found in The New Imperialism's sound.
