Bio
The Font Club is dedicated to the discussion, analysis, and production of fine typefaces. Initially incorporated in 2013 under a different name by brothers Michael and Dante Joseph, the group was reestablished in 2017 to the current moniker. After releasing a string of EPs and scattered released between 2013-2015, the group put out their debut album ‘satan’s tears taste like coffee milk’ in May 2016. The year 2018 saw the duo not only began to have have a rotating group of drummers playing at different live shows, but the group also released 2 EPs and one single. In January, they released the EP ‘how do i make this girl my future wife?’; followed by August’s cover EP ‘we’ve got you covered vol. i’; which then was followed by the promotional single ‘take off your sweater in this warm room’ in November. After celebrating the first 5 years of band at their 5th anniversary show in December 2018, the duo is now recruiting for new members to join their live lineup and are heading into the studio. The group plans to release their highly anticipated folk-centered new album, which the duo calls “the best music they have ever made”, in Q4 of 2019.
