Bio
The Tumblers are a folk rock band based in New York City and led by Jack Crawford-Brown and Emerson Sieverts, whose introspective, poignant lyrics deliver an earnest message from which the music follows. Huge Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel fans, their sound stems from straightforward song craft, abundant and tight vocal harmonies, and the contrapuntal cohesion of the rhythm section. On stage, The Tumblers bring unparalleled energy to their shows, jumping, hollering, and always deeply kind.
Jack and Emerson's musical journey began in their formative years, playing together in various bands across the DC area from ages 11 to 18. After a decade of pursuing individual musical paths, in 2022 Jack moved to New York to join Emerson, and The Tumblers was born.
The full band is now comprised of:
Jack Crawford-Brown: Lead vocals, guitar, mandolin
Emerson Sieverts: Bass, vocals
Ian Anderson: Lead guitar, banjo
Camellia Hartman: Violin
Will Frazier: Drums
