Bio
In 2010, The Shame
began from a series of conversations about old school Oi!, punk rock and soccer
over several beers at a local bar. The 3 original members, Josh Troutman, Kevin
Gissendaner and Chad Malone all came from the 80's Tulsa punk scene and decided
to form an old style punk band that focused on soccer, the working class struggle, Tulsa and a
love of the drink.
Over the years, The
Shame released a full length CD on SRP Records, as well as EP's with Profane
Existence, Rebel Sound and Aggro Beat in Europe. As well as a few compilation
tracks on Pirates Press and Oi! The Boat. Over the years the line up gradually
changed with the addition of a second, lead, guitarist David Ketter. In 2019,
the current lineup, which is well considered to be The Shame's strongest over
the years, consists of Dalton Williams (drums), Terry Waska (bass), Jon Ide
(guitar) and Chad Malone (guitar / vocals). The new lineup has a new LP
recorded that has yet to be released, entitiled - Sunday League, that should be
out this Spring/Summer of 2019.
