"CMJ: BLACK PANDA PR SHOWCASE AT WEBSTER HALL"

The Mosers took the stage next, and to say I was excited is the understatement of CMJ. The crowd was ready and the band was even more ready to blow minds and take names. Every song they played was awesome, but I’ll do my best to pick a few highlights in a group of epic highlights. “Cold Hearted Girl” rocked so hard. It felt so great to hear epic classic rock tunes coming through the speakers on this fine evening. It was hard for me to take notes because I was completely compelled to dance during the entire set. Lead singer, Mikey Pellegrino proceeded to casually flip off the right side of the crowd for not being loud enough. With that encouragement, as he announced, “on the count of three, I want you to fucking scream,” he was met with astounding accolade. After they played “Taking All The Love,” I officially decided that these guys are the epitome of cool in every single way. If it was any possible for The Mosers to be any cooler, they proved it as they covered the Buggles classic, “Video Killed The Radio Star.” I was speechless in the best of ways. The night had truly become a party. They closed with “Friend,” which was counted in by the entire crowd. They casually proceeded to rock our faces off. The highlight moment of the night had to have been when the Young Rising Sons ran up on stage to casually sing and jam with them. These guys will all be touring together starting in a couple of weeks. I’d highly recommend catching one of those shows! - Pancakes And Whiskey

"TVD Video and Song Premiere: The Mosers, “Cold Hearted Girl”"

New Jersey pop rockers The Mosers deliver unbridled kiss off to one cold hearted girl.

We have the pleasure of premiering the four piece’s single and accompanying video for “Cold Hearted Girl” exclusively to the readers of TVD. If you’re a fan of modern rock ‘n’ roll, I can promise you that these Jersey boys deliver the goods—and would even go so far as to call this single a bona fide smash.

The band certainly has its signature sound on display; fusing elements of pop punk with fuzzed-out ear worms and angst-ridden lyrics of dejection. This is tried and true blues for Generation Z—played and sung with reckless abandon and youthful authenticity. - The Vinyl District

"BACKSTAGE WITH THE MOSERS: ‘I’M GONNA FIGHT FOR EVERYTHING’"

“I feel like we’re all trying to outdrink each other,” said the Mosers’ Mikey Pellegrino as he reminisced on their tour with Young Rising Sons. “Nine bloody marys is too many bloody marys,” he informed me. His bandmates agreed with a knowing laugh.

The Mosers, who prefer Bullet, Templeton Rye, and “Jack, if necessary,” like to drink. But amidst their cautionary tales – like the dangers of drinking 9 bloody marys while driving through the Mojave desert – there’s an intense focus on their music and production. And whether they’re playing something from their addictive new album, Ticonderoga, or, as they put it, “digging through our graveyard of old songs,” that focus is absolutely sober.

“We recorded it ourselves. We all worked on it. We all did it together,” they said of Ticonderoga. “As much as we can, we want to keep doing that. We love the way it came out.”

So did the crowd. As the Mosers demolished Brooklyn Bowl with slick riffs and deep, gritty vocals, there wasn’t a body that wasn’t thrashing to the beat. And while the memorable “Jeepers Creepers” contrasted champagne on Sundays with a whiskey binge, there was, as always, a deeper battle underneath it all.

“Basically I know that I’m gonna fight for everything I believe in in the studio,” said guitarist Dave Ryan. With such a badass sound in the studio and on the stage, we’re dying to see them keep fighting. - Pancakes and Whiskey
