Bio
To tell a little bit about myself: I am a jazz pianist originally from Connecticut, moving to Philadelphia about five years ago. I have performed at Lincoln center, both in Alice Tully Hall and the Appel Room, as well as the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. My interest in music is wide, and the music I perform reflects that. The Quintet is a modern jazz group, specializing in original music and original arrangements of classic songs from the 70s and 80s. We have performed around Philadelphia at places like Chris’ Jazz Cafe and Paris Bistro and Jazz Cafe. In 2017, we were featured on Philadelphia’s WRTI with one of our performances being aired. Our music spans the gambit from feel-good grooves to head-spinningly complex arrangements. I feel that our music is rooted firmly in what appeals to the average jazz listener expands upon that, appealing to a wider group of people.
