The Hypnatwists are a brand new dynamic three-piece band hailing from Salem, Oregon with their first 4-song EP "Listening Party" released on May 31st and their second 4-song EP "Toast & Jam" releasing Aug 30th!
The three first met each other in a serendipitous encounter at a concert back in November of 2023. At the core, they are an independent garage rock n' roll band fully embracing the DIY ethos. Ruby's vocals resonate with honesty and emotion, Tony anchors the songs with a powerful low end that demands attention, and Zack delivers a sense of urgency and intensity. Their music can be characterized by raw energy, infectious melodies, and a wide range of dynamics.
While no band quite sounds like them, if you like bands like the Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles, Yeah Yeah Yeah's and/or Tennis then you're probably going to enjoy the Hypnatwists.
