Bio

The Big Shaboozie delivers rock and roll music unlike most bands of the time. They blend a number of genres such as blues, psychedelic, garage, stoner rock, latin, and folk to create a truly unique and memorable music experience. Gaining momentum in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas since 2016, the band finds itself at a pivotal moment. Playing up to 4-hour long sets as often as they could come has shaped them into a tight-knit, creative, and inspired group that knows how to bring the energy, to engage the crowd, and to leave audiences of all kinds wanting more. The Big Shaboozie, now fully equipped with authentic, timeless material, and the ability to fully immerse audiences, is ready to take the next step onto the bigger stage, and into a big future.

Created in 2016 by lead vocalist and guitarist Jake Snyder and drummer Mike Silagyi, The Big Shaboozie truly comes from humble origins. A few months of jamming Cream, Sabbath, and Tame Impala covers turned into creating originals. Adding David Donlick on bass, the trio self-produced their debut self-titled album. This has become a trend for the band. Since it's inception, The Big Shaboozie has self-produced all of their published material, with their latest effort, titled 'Shades of Faces', being their most refined and complete work to date. Through the years The Big Shaboozie has rotated members, with their current and longest standing line-up offering a unique blend of two guitars, two vocalists, a bassist, a drummer, and an auxiliary percussionist.
