The Accidental Villain was formed by composer/multi-instrumentalist Barry Seroff, as an attempt to focus a dark period in his life into positive music. This music is no overtly intellectual exercise in rock music however, the primary influence was to use the instruments in a conversational way inspired by the Minutemen. With the addition of Barry's wife Lindsey Seroff and vocals, Justin Virga on bass and Jerry Louzada on drums, this goal was achieved, leading to powerful songs with an edge of punk and heavy rock.
