The above & Below was formed in Nashville in 2019 when two non natives found one another on Facebook. Quinlan (Guitar and Vocals) and Mason (Drums) began working through some musical ideas and stumbled upon a unique sound. Fast forward 6 months and the 2 friends found themselves locked down due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Rather than rest on their laurels they began to write furiously, cranking out nearly 15 songs in a year. Mason and Quinlan took their demos to Cody Hunter at Graybox studios where they honed their vision and tracks da 6 song EP which will be released in early 2021. The band is now gearing up for a busy 2021 with releases, tours, and more planned for the future.
