TĒPĒHÛÂN
Native to the Chihuahuan Desert though spawned from the Border Towns of El Paso Tejas, US & Juárez, MX through the dystopian economic and racial inequalities of the Reaganomics êra with the 1980's Mexican American influential musical sounds, films and television that very much served as his own personal TECH-NOIR soundtrack.
Throughout much of the late 80's & early 90's playing drums & keys was very much the go to instruments that lead up to 1996 when taking the local stage for the very first time & first band KRANK which in time established himself throughout the Borderlands through various touring projects like Sankrït, Keep in Mind, DIESEL, Little Mike, Los Reales, The Devotions, HSG, SK with vast musical genres from metal, technical, triphop, rock & roll, blues, reggae, funk, oldies, experimental, industrial, psychobilly and more until final stage performance in 2015.
2015 cultivated the idea of a solo industrial ∆ darkwave project titled ALCHEMïSTïK which was inspired by alchemy & indigenous family culture that began the skeletal frame that was abruptly placed on hold until recent Worldly events of 2020 that boiled over into a need to unleash these ember beginnings that brought life to many know today as TĒPĒHÛÂN.
Fast-forward to 2022 as the first solo EP INDIGENOUS REALMS was released on 3∆3∆22 going into depth with a dark sound that very influence mentioned at the beginning and diving deep into realms that go unseen by the world of today in hopes to expand the movement that is TEPE1. Now following up INDIGENOUS REALMS a hometown inspired song titled ØBSCURO DEL PASŌ was released 4∆5∆22 accompanied by the spoken word track titled SHÅMÄN, lastly the very rebellious industrial track JU$T $AY 1T with a SUMMER 2022 full EP currently in progress.
