Tenya Colemon is in love with the art of vocal expression,
this love can be heard in every note she sings. Beginning her professional
music career in Charlotte, NC, Tenya has performed in Mississippi, North and
South Carolina, Washington, DC, Los Angeles & Pasadena, CA.
Colemon leads her own jazz ensemble which performs as a duo, trio or quartet. Tenya has opened for national headliners such as jazz saxophonist Donald Harrison and has graced the stage with acclaimed jazz pianist Cyrus Chestnut.
Tenya has become a local and regional favorite, headlining at festivals, art galleries, coffee houses, house concerts, churches and other special events.
