Tell Yo Mama is Lansing’s 7-piece funk / Soul / R&B band that was voted Lansing’s Best Rock Band (2017) and Best Hip Hop Artist by City Pulse Magazine.
Tell Yo Mama has hours of original music, and our repertoire spans a diverse cross-section of cover songs from the late 1960s to music of today. After a video of our male lead singer (Lucas Holliday) went viral, he was featured on NBC's “The Voice” in season 13. His exposure has helped us greatly gain national attention and form a solid, loyal fanbase.
