Tapes-One2 is a Hip-Hop artist residing from Bremerton, Washington. 28 years of age, he was raised half of his life in Southern California. He grew up listening to artist such as Nas, Slick Rick, Tech N9ne, J Dilla, A Tribe Called Quest, Helter Skelter and many more. The name "Tapes-One2" represents 2 elements of Hip-Hop (Graffiti & MC). He initially established his name as a graffiti artist (Tapes-One). In 2013, he started taking his music seriously after he moved back to washington from Southern California. He thrives on creating meaningful music with substance and lives to tell a story in his songs through lyricism that most people can relate to.
Tapes-One2 has done many shows at many venues. He has performed with artist such as - Elzhi, LiL Debbie, Nacho Picasso, Myke Bogan, Ra Scion (Common Market), Wanz, Grayskul, The Bad Tenants, Overtime, Wildcard etc.. In 2019 Tapes also went on his first tour (Across The Water Tour) with artist - A.X.E the great & Dre 360. His music has also been played on college radio stations nationally and internationally.
