Strings & Steel is a variety musical group.
Pierre LeBlanc aka Lucky is the Maestro. with 12 previously recorded CDs to his credit, Lucky brings years of musical experience to the mix with lead and backup vocals, intense guitar, studio productions of backup music, and sound engineering.
Eddy Martinez aka EZ-E the “Steel Drum Magician” is a dynamic entertainer that brings years of professionalism to the mix with Steel Drums, percussions, and vocals.
Nandy Pierre-Louis is a seasoned Keyboard Player who has work with Lucky for many years on various musical projects
Marc Joseph is an honorary member due to his extensive travel schedule. Marc is a world-class bass player and a seasoned band leader. Marc & Lucky have collaborated for over 30 years on various musical projects.
Strings & Steel have been together for 6 years. The group performs with studio produced 24 bits multi-track backup which gives them a lot of flexibility.
In October 2021 Strings & Steel released a single and a music video “The Shop Is Open” In January 2022 we released another music video “S & S Fiya” and our first studio CD of 11 songs (10 originals) on May 20th, 2022.
Strings & Steel's unique world-beat sound is a blend of guitar, steel drum, Bass, vocals, and percussions.
Strings & Steel is arguably the best group in variety music, making Versatility a new Genre. Their repertoire switches seamlessly from R&B, Pop, Reggae, Soca, Calypso, Kompa, Twoubadou, Ballads, Instrumentals, and Blues. They sing in English, French, Spanish, and Kreyol.
In the last 5 years, Strings & Steel have performed over 300 shows in South Florida and the Caribbean. Their performances include some prestigious venues such as Wyndham Palm Aire Resort, Beach House Pompano, Diplomat Hotel Hallandale Beach, Broward Convention Center, Hyatt Regency Pier 66, Jungle Island Key Biscayne, Bamboo Gallery Davie, REA fundraising Galas @ The City of Miramar Banquet Hall, and The Lauderdale Yacht Club, to name a few.
Currently, we perform every Friday at Maison Du Crab, Pompano Beach
