Space Ca$h is a future-soul funk producer based out of Chicago. Space Ca$h utilizes samples in a way that creates a fresh, interesting sound. He also incorporates a variety of live instruments into his work, such as guitar, bass guitar, and drums.
In 2014, Space Ca$h joined a DJ collective in Ames, Iowa, aimed at creating an electronic music scene in the area. Space Ca$h would headline DJ parties, performing for crowds of over 200 people.
Space Ca$h has been making music for years. His roots are in percussion. In high school, he was the head of the drum line, and was also the drummer in a progressive rock band. As his interest and talent in music grew, he sought out other methods to create. His beginning method of electronic music production was with Maschine. Now, he uses Ableton Push, Maschine, and Traktor.
