Sophomore Year is a South Florida based pop punk band. Originally formed by Singer/songwriter Thomas Hayes and bassist Steven Hanford who developed a friendship while while working together. While looking for someone to record the "From the Outside" EP, and a drummer to play on the EP they found producer/lead guitarist Sam Miller, and Drummer Joey castro who heard the music and wanted to join, originally under the name "All Rise" and later renamed "Sophomore Year".
