GREG MINIER- LEAD VOCALS
In 1985, Greg formed the crossover punk/thrash band The Crucified. By 1989, the band secured
a recording contract and went on to release two albums. Greg played all across the U.S. headlining shows as well as opening for acts like G.B.H, D.R.I and Pantera. After The Crucified disbanded in 1993, Greg started playing in cover bands. During this time he not only played guitar but began singing as well. For more than twenty years, Greg performed multiple nights each week for clubs, bars, parties, and weddings as well as a two-month stint at The Wave nightclub in Oahu. For fourteen years Greg played in local favorite cover band Mr. Rude. Greg discovered The Cult in 1986 after hearing the song She Sells Sanctuary. “I bought the Love album and then picked up Electric soon after that." Ian Astbury quickly became one of Greg’s favorite singers. Greg played a few Cult songs over the years in his cover bands, but always wanted to pay full tribute. “I’ve wanted to play a full set of Cult songs for the last twenty years and now I have the chance!"
JASON BARNETT- GUITAR
At the age of 10 Jake began taking classical guitar lessons in Madera, CA. Although he was a rock music fan at heart he continued with the classical lessons until joining the jazz band in high school. In the 90's Jake played in the original band Trojan Country Club out of Fresno, CA. Since 2000 he's been performing covers and has been the supporting act for bands such as The Beach Boys, Cheap Trick, and Y&T. He is currently a member of Pirate Radio, Hard N Heavy, and the Appletones. As a huge fan of The Cult, Jake was thrilled to get the call from Sonic Revolution. He's immersed himself in the music and has successfully replicated the look and sound of guitar legend Billy Duffy.
RONNIE MACARI- DRUMS
When Ronnie was 10 years old, he bought the first two rock records of his own - AC/DC’s Dirty Deeds and Back-N-Black.. Ronnie was 100% ROCK-N-ROLL from that point on! Soon, Ronnie began playing with groups around the Central Valley. During those younger years, he and some good friends formed the band Slam Alley. The band moved to Hollywood and performed with childhood favs like Love/Hate, Firehouse, Warrant, Bang Tango, LA Guns, Bullet Boys, Motor Head, and Ratt. In the late 1990s, Ronnie joined up with central valley recording artist Fear No Evil and had the opportunity to tour and share the stage with bands like Sofa King and TESLA. Fear No Evil performed up and down the West Coast and Mid-Western United States. Later, Ronnie began playing with cover bands and always loved the bluesy-rock groove style. During more than a decade of playing local clubs every weekend, he joined forces with Sonic Revolution vocalist Greg (then guitarist) to play in the local cover band Mr. Rude. The two performed all over the central valley at bars, casinos, and even a handful of gigs for Navy Seal teams returning home from the battle field.
DANA TODD- BASS
Throughout high school Dana played guitar in several original and cover bands, as well as playing bass for the school jazz band. “I was interested in playing anything and everything I came across style wise,” states Dana. This led him to pursue music at the college level.
As a music student at Fresno State University, Dana had the opportunity to study under
world renowned flamenco guitarist Juan Serrano. “It was an incredible experience
learning for Juan. I was able to really broaden my musical skills with the classical and
flamenco training that I undertook.” After college Dana formed his own cover band called Hard Times, which has been going steady since 1995. He also operated his own sound company in the early 2000’s and played guitar for former Sunset recording artist Blackbird.
When asked to play bass for Sonic Revolution Dana was all over it. “The Cult’s sound
has evolved greatly over the years, truly making it a fulfilling experience being able to
cover all the band’s stylistic progression!”
