Someone You Can Xray is a CT-based rock band that writes and performs original material from a variety of genres ranging from electric blues & country to funk and psychedelic improvisations.
Formed in 2012 by Dana & Bryan Newman (keyboards/harmonica/vocals and guitar/vocals, respectively), the group is rounded out by Robert “Bobby” Pickett (electric violin/lap steel), John Lebel (bass) and Dave Bacchiocchi (drums). Xray performs regularly at many popular Connecticut venues, as well as appearing at many local festivals & benefits.
In 2014, Someone You Can Xray gave 3 live radio performances; on WESU (J-Cherry Presents), WPKN (Sunday Brunch Concert with David Golden), and WCNI (Alysin Wonderland), performed a live set in the studio for Gramma’s Attic Music Revue, and was featured in a Live Bands Touring mini documentary.
