Im Verlon Petty (SmokeyDaBandit), I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. I moved to Dubuque for school but felt like in my heart 4 years down the road it wasnt for me. In my music I like to express my life and my feelings in that time. Growing up I was never listened to by anyone, but now they listen because it's a beat playing behind me. All my songs 100% me , thought my music you will know exactly who I am. Bandit Gang is nothing to be afraid of because with me I see it different. I believe everyone is a bandit in thier own creative way. The gang part is just a group of all my fans and supporters .I call myself a Bandit not sound cool or to sound tuff. A bandit is someone that takes something from you. I believe i take the most important thing from people, thier time. Time is the most important thing we have, its like I steal your ears with my music. For someone to listen to my music watch my videos/post, to go to my shows, that takes time.The time that you allow me to steal I appreciate every second of it.
