Slim Pickens is an up and coming artist on the Des Moines local music scene. Produced by long time friend Chuch Beats, he is taking the Des Moines hip hop scene to the next level with clever punch lines, witty lyrics and addicting hooks. Slim, now a solo artist formerly of the rap duo enVus, has performed at numerous events and venues in over 6 different states, most notably Atlanta's A3c festival and 515alive in Des Moines. He has also opened for celebrity acts like Young Buck, J.Holiday. With the debut of his first solo album entitled "Aint Ready", he wants to make it hard for people to talk about the Des Moines local scene without mentioning his name.
